To create an easy centerpiece for a coffee table, we made use of an old wicker pie basket and a mason jar. We placed an LED candle in the mason jar and then around it placed lemon pomanders, cinnamon sticks, pinecones, nuts, berries and mini fruits. It was finished off with a couple sprigs of bittersweet. All of the items used were artificial expect for the pine cones and cinnamon sticks. It was the perfect fit for our antique tea-sized coffee table. It’s great for the entire Autumn season. To get even more use out it, after Thanksgiving, change the lemon pomanders for orange pomanders and the bittersweet for winterberry.
